Why?
Because I believe Cleveland is desperate/dumb enough to make this move. It has
been reported that ownership is so desperate for a “franchise quarterback” that
they are more than willing to surrender this year’s first round picks, and then
some to obtain why. Just nobody has informed the Browns that Mariota is not a
“franchise quarterback”. But then again, this is the same franchise that
thought Tim Couch, Brady Quinn and Johnny Manziel was.
The blame does not rest on Marcus
Mariota. It just seems that this draft has a lackluster group of signal
callers, but so many teams in the NFL, like the Browns, are so desperate for
one, that they convince themselves they are in love. If the AFC North was the
cast of the ‘Big Bang Theory’ the Cleveland Browns would be Raj; convinced
every quarterback that they can get their hands on is “the one”. Problem is,
Cleveland has mismanaged their number “one” picks too many times.

Story of the 11-20
picks: Randy Gregory to Tennessee
With
Tennessee’s first pick after trading their 2nd overall to Cleveland,
the Titans select Randy Gregory from Nebraska. Gregory has a lot of “baggage”
issues, but he is a Top 5 talent. Tennessee wants to make improvements on the
defensive side of the ball and Gregory can do just that.

Story of the 21-32
picks: Todd Gurley to Baltimore
This
would be ideal for not only the Ravens but Gurley as well. Coach John Harbaugh
lost leading rusher Justin Forsett to free agency this past season and lost
career leader Ray Rice to (insert inappropriate joke here). The bottom line is
that if the Ravens are going to get back to the Super Bowl they need a
workhorse to do so. Todd Gurley, if the knee is good, is the ultimate workhorse.
